Practices:

Please check the “calendar” page on our website for specific teams, venues, and times.

Fees:

Total Fee is $875 for Regional Teams and $1400 for National Teams (+ nonrefundable tryout fee).

The fee includes the following: Velocity Lehigh Valley Club Membership, uniform (2 jerseys and a pair of shorts), gym rentals for practices, tournament entrance fees, and instruction by coaches.

* $50 fee day of tryouts

COMMITMENT FEE reserves your spot and is due by Sunday, August 11, 2024.

FINAL PAYMENT is due by Sunday, November 17th.

Cash, Check, and Venmo payments accepted. Please put your son's name in the memo, so we can attach it to the correct account.

Tournament Dates:

Tournaments will begin tentatively Saturday, December 2rd & Sunday, December 3rd 2023. Tournaments will be on Saturday or Sunday. The teams will enter 6 or 7 tournaments. Travel time is approximately 1 to 2.5 hours away. Transportation is provided by the parents and players. For information, go to www.volleyballeast.com and select AAU.

Velocity Home Tournaments:

Velocity Volleyball Club will be hosting three (3) home tournaments at Catasauqua High School and three (3) at Northampton Middle School in December, January, and February. Parents of players will be asked to donate/make food and/or drinks for the snack stand and help work/run the stand on the tournament day. This is a highly successful fundraiser. The profit is used to offset gym rentals, equipment, and tournament entrance fees. It is NOT used for coach’s salaries.

AAU Athlete Registration/Tryout info:

This season you will be responsible for affiliating with Velocity, Lehigh Valley, Club and registering for a Youth Athlete Membership once you make a team (purchase in September).

You MUST be registered for a membership to practice and to play in tournaments. Please provide AAU membership number and insurance information on the first day of tryouts. Also bring along your tryout fee, unless it was paid prior to tryouts.

*Do NOT purchase AAU membership before tryouts, AAU memberships expire in August. You will want to renew or purchase membership in September, when we post the NEW club code.
